Seri Spinner Ring, Size 8.5

Part of the Ocean collection, inspired by the salt the sand and earth. Each piece in this collection I wanted to capture a love of movement and the contrast of warm and cool colors like when the waves hit the shore.

Stylish spinning ring also known as a meditation ring are said to focus on positive thoughts while spinning the outer bands. They also can help to calm down, relax, focus your thoughts and intentions while helping to reduce anxiety and tension.

Made with a reticulated textured inner band with a smooth inside for comfort and 3 exterior rings that spin around. Made with Sterling silver, 14k gold fill and American mined Sonoran Mountain turquoise. Size 8.5 fits finger 1/2-1 size smaller. 

Reticulation is used exclusively by studio jewelers to produces a ridged textured surface through controlled heating. Reticulation involves heating a sheet of gold or silver alloy up to 10 times to oxidize the copper at the surface, then pickling to remove the oxide and leave a thin layer of pure metal. This process results in different melting temperatures between the surface and the interior of the sheet, in the interior flows before the surface metal does resulting in wrinkles that look like a mountain ridge or surface of the moon. Do to the nature of the technique each piece is unique in its pattern and can never be repeated exactly making each piece special and one of a kind.
